_________________________________________________________________________________________________

And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it, for this is my blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the forgiveness of sins.

MATTHEW 26:27-28

And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, and they all drank of it. And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many.

MARK 14:23-24

Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is shed for you.

LUKE 22:20

To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember His holy covenant; The oath which He swore to our father Abraham.

LUKE 1:72-73

Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, “And in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed”. Unto you first God, having raised up His son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

ACTS 3:25-26

And He gave him the covenant of circumcision: and so Abraham begat Isaac, and circumcised him the eighth day; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat  the twelve patriarchs.

ACTS 7:8

Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises.

ROMANS 9:4

And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob. For this is My covenant unto them: when I shall take away their sins.

ROMANS 11:26-27

After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood, this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

I CORINTHIANS 11:25

Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

Who also hath made us able ministers of the new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

II CORINTHIANS 3:5-6

But their minds were blinded [hardened]: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old covenant; which vail is done away in Christ.

 II CORINTHIANS 3:14

That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of [the] promise, having no hope, and without God in the world.

EPHESIANS 2:12

By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better covenant.

HEBREWS 7:22

But now hath he [Jesus Christ] obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.  For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second

For finding fault with them, He [God] saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in My covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord: I will put My laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to Me a people:

And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know Me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness [injustice], and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

In that He saith, A new covenant, He hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

HEBREWS 8:6-13

And for this cause he is the mediator of the new covenant, that ‘by means of death, for the redemption’ [a death having taken place for redemption] of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, [so that] they which are called might receive the promise of [the] eternal inheritance.

For where a [this kind of] covenant is, there must of necessity be the death of the testator [covenant-sacrifice]. For [this kind of] covenant is in force after men are dead [upon deaths of the sacrifices]: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator [covenant-sacrifice] liveth. Whereupon neither [not even the] the first covenant was dedicated [ratified] without blood.

For when Moses had spoken every precept [commandment] to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, Saying, “This is the blood of the covenant which God hath enjoined [charged] unto you”.

HEBREWS 9:15-20

Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables [tablets] of the covenant.

HEBREWS 9:4

This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

Now where forgiveness of these is, there is no more offering for sin. Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way, which he hath consecrated [ratified] for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh [through his flesh].

And having a high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near [approach] with a true heart in full assurance of believing, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

HEBREWS 10:16-22

Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

HEBREWS 10:29

And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

HEBREWS 12:24

Now the God of peace, Who brought again from the dead our lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you perfect [fully equip you] in every good work to do His will, working in you that which is well-pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ. To Him be glory for ever and ever [unto the ages of the ages!]. Amen.

HEBREWS 13:20-21
