Sold £160 16insSunny a German teddy bear 1920s, probably Cramer with bright golden mohair, clear and black glass eyes with remains of brown painted backs, pronounced muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed limbs with felt pads, hump, inoperative growler and leather collar with three large bronze bells 23in. (58. 5cm.) high (a few small bald spots, general wear and thinning, faded forehead and slight damage to pads) Description Date 1920

beautifully endearing painted back eyes with most of the paint gone
His head and arms are jointed but he has metal rods running through his body into his legs allowing him to stand up like a real bear
