1980s Glenfiddich Pure Malt 1980s 1 Litre whiskey1980's Bottling In Original Presentation Tube Colour: Pale Straw Nose: Grainy with a slight smokiness at first nosing. Gets bold notes of mashed potatoes and boiled milk and then rather grassy, with also whiffs of violets and lilac. Different compared to more recent versions. Mouth: An attack thats pretty okay, with repeating grassy tones. Finish: grassy and dry.

but I can confirm that it is grand whisky

fruit and nut chocolate with some black breakfast tea

Comments: The palate is quite incredible

ie those containers used three times and for eight months in a row

the sort that would traditionally be enjoyed with dessert

honey and a slight almost inky scent on the nose

a curious maltiness
