In the left foreground a sailor sews the edge of a length of sail cloth that has been spread out over the sand. Behind him dhows (sailboats) and a water barrel sit on the sand. Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
