Purple Silhouette thehagueA unique capture in Scheveningen. I took this photo on the north side of the harbor, with the surfer walking on the south side of the harbor. Any local in Scheveningen recognises this angle.

Some moments in the North Sea are meant to experience alone

When taking this photograph I remember moving around a lot as I was trying to catch a surfer right in the shiny part of the sea

Printed on white 400 grams Haeven 42 paper

but by combining two photos I managed to create this effect

This photo has a retro

I love to be out in nature when the mood is this strong

At the end of a hot summer we were able to surf in board shorts for a few days

The fog was so thick that I had to use the white water of the broken wave to get some contrast in the photo

while heavy clouds formed

try new things and turn a turbulent landscape into a calm and clear whole

This is an area where forest comes together with sandy dunes
