Alloa / Strathmore distillery 1964 40y single cask 30295 HB - 6cl6cl sample Alloa single grain from Strathmore Distillery, a part of North of Scotland distillery Limited edition of 180 bottles 42,5% 40y distilled July 1964 bottled Febr. 2005 single grain from a long gone distillery (opened in 1957, operated until 1980 and demolished in 1993) The 1964 Distillation is rich, smooth, and perhaps even slightly oily, with plenty malt and just a trace of vanilla. This is a one off single grain that will never be repeated.
