Siro Fifty' - Fattoria di Gratena - Tuscany - IGT - 2014 ORGANIC armagnacAn organic wine from Arezzo, in eastern Tuscany. Made from 50% of their Sangiovese (which is used in other wines from the estate), blended with 50% of 'Gratena Nero' which is a variety of red wine known only to this estate and was established as a unique variety by a Milan University Professor of Agriculture and oenology in 2014.

they are 60 years of age

with lots of praline… In short

a cheeky wee kumquat and some black pepper and a shaving of truffle

Nose: There’s some curry as well

not exceptional but certainly enjoyable

Big peat smoke

further aeration introduces traces of hard cheese
